The Sound of Racing!!
As we know, NASCAR is a loud place to be at when being in use. This lab will help us understand the physics of sound within NASCAR
By: Justin A. Leng
1. Clap your hands softly. Explain how the sound gets from your hands to your friends' ears. - By clapping your hands, you are creating vibration within the atmosphere. they travel to the ear, causing the ear drum to vibrate. The ear drum them vibrates to the 3 bones located next, which vibrate agianst a liquid filled organ. The organ soon transmit the information to the brain to be determined.
If you clap your hands harder, your friends hear a louder sound. Why? - Since we are clapping harder we are creating a bigger wave signal. Our ear drums will them vibrate louder, and harder, then appling the same process.
