Question #5 The effects of the Armenian Genocide has caused 1,500,000 deaths within the span of 8 years, 1915-1923. The Armenians were forced on death marches to march long distance. 75% of the people perished in the marches. After obliterating the Armenian people, the Turks destroyed any remembrance of Armenian cultural heritage. To sum it all up, by the end of the Genocide the Armenians were destroyed , towns and homes demolished, families seperated, and over 1 million dead.
