Definition: Termination of pregnancy and expulsion of an embryo or of a fetus that is incapable of survival.

Cons: *It can cause psychological impairment amongst women such as depression & guilt. *It always lessons the chance of having a child later in life. *Promotes an irresponsible behavior amongst people; used as a type of birth control. *It can cause many medical complications such as infection, sepsis, recurrent miscarrages, etc.

Pros: There are no pros of an abortion. If you get pregnant take responibility for your actions. In the case of rape or incest you can give the baby up for adoption.

Personal Opinion: I am Pro-Life. I believe that life begins at conception, abortion is murder. Rape and incest is a horrible crime, but the unborn baby shouldn't be punished. The government shouldn't fund for abortions. Most of all abortions are not safe!

Facts: -In 2005, approximately 1.21 million abortions took place in the U.S. - In 2004, the highest number of reported legal induced abortions occurred in florida were 91,710. -80% of all abortions are performed on unmarried women. -Most abortions in the U.S. are proformed at low-cost clinics, women on average pay $372 for the procedure.
