Was in school at Gretna Jr. High; studying 2.What was high school like then? About the same 3.How do you perceive high school to be different now? We played outside more; had to be a little more creative with time 4.What were some things you enjoyed as a teen that we don’t have now? Liked the French club 5.What did you want to do with your life when you were my age? Psychiatrist or a lawyer 6.What kind of student were you (serious, not interested in school), and how did that effect who you are today? Average; some regrets that I didn’t apply myself more 7.Did you have any points or low points that were defining moment in your life? Yes; high points: got married, kids being born; low points: husband lost job; readjusting 8.When you were a teen, did you have any interests that you still do as an adult? Yes; reading, cross-stitching, history, psychology and law 9.Are your friends still the same as you had in high school? “Yes, not all, but yes. And I’m reconnecting with some on Facebook.” 10.When did you realize what you wanted to do? When your brother was born, and Grandpa needed a helper, I saw my chance at being a mom. 11.What obstacles did you overcome to get where you today? Never really had one 12.What has been the key to achieving the goals you’ve reached in your life? Just keep working at it. 13.As you look back on your teen years, what would you do differently? Worked harder at school 14.If you had one piece of advice to young people, what would it be? Study hard, stay in school, don’t let anything stop you. And do what makes you happy.
