The Chimfunshi Wildlife Sanctuary Primate Project: -Since about 2005 Charles, Leben, George and Grumps have been locked inside on cold concrete floors with nothing more than a handful of hay. The impact of being trapped in this room has devistated them. Solution: -After a recent visit to Chimfunshi it is evident now more than ever how important it is to build a fully enclosed outdoor area for Charles, Leben, Grumps and George. The change in their personalities from previously interactive almost non responsive.
Save The Primates is an Australian non-profit association dedicated to raising funds for specific projects and campaigns. Focussing on primate conservation and primate protection within a select group of primate, also raising awareness of endangered primate species such as apes, gorillas, chimps, many of which are close to extinction.
