The Watts Riots Began August 11 1965 In Los Angeles. The Riots All Started Over Racical Voleince And The Way Blacks Were Treated Unequall. The Riots Only Lasted Six Days.
There Is A Estimated Damage of Forty Million Dollars Done In The Watts Riots And There Was Also One Hundred Thousand Buildings Damaged And Burned
It All Started Because Marquette Frye Was Arrested For Drunk Driving. Then When Marguette's Mother Got Intervened .A Whole Crowd Gathered And The Arrest Made African Americans Mad. After A Week Of Rioting 34 People Were Dead And 25 Were Black. That Week More Then 600 Buildings Were Destroyed
