EQUALITY: The core ideal equality ties in with the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments. These three amendments gave rights to non-white races so that they were equal. In addition, these amendments only gave rights and freedoms to men as women were not included. As time has passed, there have been many movements such as civil rights, womens rights, etc., all for the purpose of gaining equality.
