Mean
Median
Mode
The median is the middle value out of all the data in the series. To find this value just arrange the data in ascending order and the number in the middle is the median.
The mode is the most common number in a data series. To find the mode, one must observe the all the data and find the one that appears the most. That value is the mode
The mean is the average of all the values in a data series. To find the mean you must take the sum of all the values and divide the sum by the number of total values.
Central Tendancy is determined through three ways.
Outliers- are number values in a data series that are are extremely higher or lower than the other numbers. Ex. 12,13,16, 18,19,73 in the present data series, 73 is the outlier.
Median- If there are two numbers in the middle of the data series. take the mean of those two numbers only and the result is the median.
Mode- If all numbers appear the same number of times there is no mode. If two, three or etc. amount of numbers appear the same number of times(more than once) all of those numbers are the mode.
