Blood Types there are many different blood types. there are type A, B, AB and O. ther are also 6 differnt combonations: AA, BB. AO, BO, OO and AB. Bloot is also a very important type of evidence during a crime investigation. it determines whether the killer is male or female, their age etc. Blood makes up about 9% of our body weight and an average human has about 5 to 6 litres of blood in their body.
Hairs at a crime scene, hairs cannot identify a person as such but it can identify their age, race and gender. there are 6 different kinds hairs. scalp hair, eyebrow, beard hair, inder arm, pubic and overall body hair. a single hair contains the cetntral core which is called the medulla, the couloured layer called the cortex and the outer layer which is called the cuticle.
EVIDENCE There are 2 different types of evidence, there is testimonial evidence and physical evidence. testimonial is any witnesses of an incident or crime and physical is anything to do with material items that was at the crime scene or the victims. any evidence would then be presented in an investigation which would then prove or dispove the facts. Hairs, nails, prints of lip or fingers can help in an investigation.
FINGERPRINTS No 2 people have the same fingerprint. there 3 catergories of fingerprints. there are the loop, whorls and arches. fingerprints can determine the person of that specific fingerprint and it can also identify their age, gender, height etc. they are a very important and useful bit of evidence.
