Rylynn by Andy Mckee (covered by Sungha Jung). I remembered that when I had to choose a song for this book, it had to be about the sorrow for leaving, or the feeling of near-death sadness. Rylynn is pretty and gentle, reminding me of an epic beginning in a sad tone. In my opinion, this resembles prolonged waiting and a gentle epic.
Hector gets ready to fight again, while, Greek Diomedes and Trojan Glaukos challenge each other to a duel and trash talk with words. In the end, Glaukos and Diomedes find something common with each other, exchanging gifts and gratifying eachother. Nestor thinks the Trojans are discouraged and weakened, giving the Greeks the upper hand. He also speeches the Achaians to kill as many Trojans as they can while still having the element of surprise. the Trojan army feels they are going to get dominated, and Helenus, an adviser man, tells Hector to ask his mother and her sister maidens, to pray for mercy at Athena's temple. Hector follows Helenus' advice and gives his mother and her companions what to do when they arrive. Afterwards, Hector visits his brother Paris, whom is too depressed to fight in battle. Hector and Paris' wife disgrace and sting him until finally he has some courage to fight. Hector also visits his wife, Andromache, who he finds nursing their baby son near Troy. Andromache sees people dying in the plains and begs Hector not to go back, but he states that he can't escape what is meant to be. He kisses his son, even though his son is scared of Hector's helmet. Hector leaves for the gates of the city, meeting his brother on the way, they head off, planning to resume in battle.
