Actions: Irish dancer’s shoes are a main part of Irish dancing. Irish dancing is very festive and fast paced, and is often called the “dance of no arm movement”. There are different ways you can Irish dance such as a solo, a pair or a group of dancers. People are always saying that all Irish are very talented dancers. There are some very good Irish dancers, but not everyone is excellent at dancing.
Way of Life: The Irish are farmers. Even though Irish farmers are built stronger, that does not mean that they farmers. There are different types of farms in Ireland like a dairy farm, a chicken farm and agriculture. Some of the other things that Irish folk do are like Canada but it is either a different product or company.
Stories: One of the stories or legends of Ireland is St. Patrick driving the snakes out of Ireland. The story is St. Patrick is driving the snakes using his staff. Some say that St. Patrick never drove the snakes out of Ireland, because there were no snakes to begin with in Ireland. Of course in the picture below, he never drove them in a car, but he did banish them from Ireland.
Art: Irish art is a variety of art. They can include carvings, paintings and architecture. One painter that is Irish is Robert Richard Scanlan. Most of Robert Richard Scanlan’s work was paintings. His two most famous were portraits of Sir Robert Peel and of the Duke of Wellington who were two prime ministers of Ireland.
Symbols: Ireland has one main symbol that everyone can recognize and that is the four leaf clover or the shamrock. The shamrock means good luck and is very difficult to find but only if it is a four leaf one. Most of the shamrocks you find are three leaf ones. They grow in fields and are very small (not bigger than the palm of your hand).
