HOOP'N AT THE CONVO SWEET 16 BABY!!
~The True Cinderella Story~ During regular season we only won 7 games and lost 15. We were seeded last in our sectional, but we won our first tournament game. Then we went on to play the #1 seed in our sectional in the sectional final game. We never thought we would be able to even keep up with them. But we proved Fort Frye, our community and ourselves wrong by beating them to become Sectional Champs. We were just excited to be going to Districts and never believed we would win our first game. Playing Garaway in Districts Finals was unbelievable, of course they had a height advantage and we had hardly any hope left. But once again we proved ourselves and the community wrong and beat them to become District Champs. Now the boys had to choose between going on their senior class trip and have fun with all their friends for the last time, or play in the Regional Semi-final game in Athens at the Ohio University. Of course they couldn't let their team down and decided to stay in Ohio and play in the biggest game of their high school career. Our success story was getting us noticed by people everywhere throughout the state of Ohio because of what we went through to make it this far. The county, surrounding area and people we didn't even know were proud of what we have done. Although we lost our game against Granview Heights, everyone was proud of the season we had. This was in fact, the true cinderella story.
