Saint Vincent & The Grenadines

The Carib Indians prevented European settlement on St.Vincent until the 18th century. African Slaves intermarried with the Caribs and became known as the 'Black Caribs.' In 1763, St.Vincent was ceded to Britain. Slavery was abolised in 1834.
The area is 130 sq. miles, it is slightly less then twice the size of Washington D.C.
The Grenadines include 32 islands, the largest islands are Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, and some of the smaller islands are privately owned. The claimate is Tropical.
The Natural resources available is Hydropower and Cropland.
