Cassio
So hangs, and lolls, and weeps upon me; so [hales] and pulls me. Ha, Ha, Ha! (iv.i.139-140)
I have drunk but one cup tonight and that was craftily qualified too and behold what innovation it makes here. I am infortunate in the infirmity, and dare not task my weakness with any more. (iii.ii.39-42)
In Othello my character's name is Cassio. Cassio is Othello's right hand man and also his lieutenant. Later in the play Cassio is accused by Iago to be having an affair with Othello's wife Desdemona. Cassio is very important to this story because he was the first person that Iago had wished to demise for taking his position at lieutenant. Also, since Cassio was accused by Iago to having an affair Othello had ordered him to be killed by Iago and was later dismissed from being Othello's lieutenant.By the end of the play Cassio has been fired from being lieutenant, Iago took his place, and also roderigo was sent by Iago to kill Cassio but failed. So finally Cassio just sustained a leg injury by Iago stabbing him and later lived and took Othello's place as leader of the army.
