History of the Island
Nine years ago our travel agency went on a trip for our regular retreat. Every year, we would go out looking for a place, but not just any place. A place full of excitement and wondrous things that no one has ever dreamt of doing before and each year we would come back with no luck. I guess the year of 2000 was our special year because off the coast of Japan there was an island, just a plain old island floating around in the choppy blue waters. Which is how we came up with the name of this island but you will hear more about that later. We were so thrilled to have found a place where we could have our tourists go! Then, all of us sighed this is really not what we wanted there was no excitement, nothing to lure people to come to our new island. We all sat and thought and thought and thought but nothing came to mind. Eventually one of our workers came up with an idea, an idea so out of the ordinary that we thought it could never be possible to accomplish. To somehow place this island onto a cloud, surrounded by a circular tank so that people would be able to come and visit the island. Everyone then believed that this would be something no other travel agency would have; a place like this would never come across another travel agency’s mind. Then we all became stumped how we would get this island up in the air, to where people could visit it! Well, you think its impossible now do you? Yet, we were determined to figure out how we could bring this island into the sky. Then it was like we all got the idea at the same exact time, we would blow a bubble so big that it would go around the entire Island, and even take some of the water with it and that is just what we did. We watched it fly straight up and land calmly on a white puffy cloud. We knew as a travel agency that we had come up with an idea no one would ever come up with in this century! We were all so excited; now the only question left was how were we going to get all of our tourists and us up to our crazy new island get away?
Our Island Volcano It's not what you think. This volcano is fun. Even for kids. Theres also a moat at the bottom. But we call it our lazy river. It's like a hot tube and the water comes from the volcano. Wait theres more. There are slides and a small water park for kids. So much fun. The water for our lazy river comes from shoots on the sides of the volcano instead of bubblind out of the top. Then to go on the slides you have to ride a lift andride to the top then you get droped on the slide and you wiol feel like you flying. Fast, fun and easy.
