“Ah… Yes. I’m 22 year old. I was born in the United States in California. My mother’s name is Leann; my father’s name is Neil. I have two sisters age 20 and 27; their names are Clarisse and Marie. I’m interested in traveling, swimming, pets, automobiles, writing and I love cooking. My first pet was a black horse named Coal.” He was still looking at the road. “I see. What are your favorite things?” I asked with a slight smile. “My favorite color is red, which is ironic, because you’re wearing it. My favorite food is steak. I love swimming as I stated. My favorite car is the one you’re in. My best friend’s name is Nick, I think you’ve met him. Nick Liam, Jen’s boyfriend. My favorite thing to do when I’m with my friends is play football. When I have free time and visit my family I generally do what ever they would like to do. I love a good barbeque and I have to say, you’re absolutely beautiful.” “Thank you. What do you know about me, may I ask?” I said, blushing. I was starting to like this guy. We’re the same age, and he’s very good looking. “You’re 22 years old also, you were born in the United States in Nevada. Your parents are named Gisele and Sergei. You have one sister named Gina age 18 and a brother named Luke age 21. You have one pet, a hamster named Grey and your best friend is Jen. Can you tell me more about you?” I turned and looked out the window. “Sure. I love to swim; I can’t stand the cold which is funny, since I live in Russia. I love palm trees. I’m interested in drawing, writing, and singing. My favorite color is red, and I’m wearing it as you pointed out. My favorite food is chocolate ice cream. My family generally has picnics when we all meet up. I love a good movie and I can’t stand eating seafood or red meat.” I looked at the clock.”Oh no! Mike, we’ve got to start heading back. It’s already 8:26.” “Alright, let’s go.” He slammed the truck into gear. “By the way, Anna, you’re quite nice company. If this isn’t a date, would you like to go on one tomorrow night?” “Yes. I would.” About twenty minutes later, we were pulling up to the casino. I smiled at Mike. “Thanks. I have a feeling you’re not just an average person.” “I’m not, you’re correct. I’m actually an agent of the United States FBI. I’m here to investigate the murder of an Australian ambassador to the US. But, unofficially, I’m here as a friend of Jen’s to protect you. Shall we head in?” He asked as he got out of the car. He opened the door, took my arm and led me to the door. “We have an invitation.” Mike said, flashing our invitation. The man let us in, and we took in a second to get our bearings. Everywhere in the casino flashy dresses, bright, sparkling chandeliers, cigar smoke and shouts were all around us. The music was reminiscent of 60’s jazz. We looked at each other, then proceeded into the bar room. We looked around- suddenly I squeezed his arm. “What is it Anna?” He asked calmly, not giving away anything. “It’s him, the agent from the Australian government. He’s the black haired one, with the girl in the hot pink dress. See?” “Yes. I see him. Should we go talk to him?” Mike inquired quietly.
