There are different patterns of numbers found in the triangle. The triangle consists of different characteristics some of them you can see in the lower left hand corner and the picture to the left.
In the picture to the left you can see when you add the two numbers next to each other they would give you the total of the lower number in between. Another pattern you can find is that you can divide the total of the row by the row number. For example row four, the numbers are 1,3,3,1 they total 8 and 8 is divisible by four which = 2
In this picture you can see the different patterns, such as the total of each row is double the one before it. Another pattern is the sum of the nth row is equal to 2 to the power on n
In This Picture you can see Pascal’s Flowers. In Pascal’s Flower with any number you pick the two surrounding triplets would add to be the same. For example if you look at the picture the centre grey number is 15. The surrounding orange numbers are 10, 6 and 35, these numbers total 51. The yellow numbers are 5, 20 and 21, these numbers also total 51. Pascal’s flower demonstrates the techniques and patterns found in the triangle.
