We all have scars on the inside and out Scars on the outside because we're scared to shout The outside wounds they run so deep We cut and weep Weep of tears and weep of blood The tears become strong like a flash flood We take things out on ourselves as it's out only way to cope Lose sense of life, self worth and all hope Making sure we look ugly for everyone to see And when we hurt ourselves it sets the anger free Scars on the inside can last just as long That's how a lot of musicians make their song Pain from life, love and the past Imagine if we knew a spell we could cast To get rid of all the pain and scars outside and in Because with everything in life and life itself we just want to win Win the hearts of those we love and lifes little dream Learn to show how we feel and if needs be to scream Why do we put ourselves through so much anger and pain If we keep it up we go either crazy or insane Life is what we make it i have come to understand Learn to let go of the past and take a helping hand Looking to the future is what i've chose to do My inside and emotional scars are now very few I know my outside scars i will never be free But it's a part of my life for people to see If people ask me what happened i'll explain it was the past
And i learnt a new magic spell to rid of the past So if you have a dark part of life you are going through Just remember there are millions of people who understand you But they are gradually letting go and looking from behind And learning they have a future they want to find I have done it after 13 years of pain And was on the verge of ending it or going insane But i have changed some things and want to smile not shed a tear Not being afraid to let go of fear I know you can all do it just let go of the past Deep inside you all know that magic spell and how to cast
