Dear Diary,Today we launched the first atomicbomb on japan. I had feared that wewould be launched into the war eventually. This attack is said to be a swift end to the war; this is our last resort. People are losing faith that this war will ever end. The first bombhas been dropped on Hiroshima, thenext is said to be dropped on Nagasaki on the 9th of August.I hope the end of this war comessoon.
