Good night mister Tom is about a eight year old boy called William Beech. Well nobody calls him that his mother calls him Willie. In the year when Willie was raised there was war and he had to be evacuated into the country side. Where he meets this old grumpy kind hearted man called Mr. Tom William made a friend clalled Zachary and they have fun together.

After 6 months passed Willie learned to read and write. When Will heard his mum is feeling really sick. He felt really bad and didnt want to leave but he had to. When he met his mother and went home she said she had a surprise for him and he found his own baby little sister. his mother was really religious and didnt really care about willie that much but she cared about God.
What I liked about the story. I liked that mr.tom and William becomes friends and Mr. tom ends up being willies father. And that the chapters (end) have cliffhangers.
