The MODERN Period of music has been about change. Many new forms of harmonies are being used. Nationalistic music, which is music representing history of different countries, is being composed. New styles, including rap, gospel, pop, jazz, country, dance and rock music are being drawn from and incorporated into classical music during the MODERN Period.
