Still hangin' in there with me? Almost done, just a few things to consider!
There are cons of using ICT in class, such as the amount of time it takes to become familiar enough with all the technology to use it properly. But the advantages of using technology FAR outweigh the cons, and I look forward to learning more and more as ICT continues its infinite progression.
Remember the little bike we started the tour with? I upgraded my wheels! It's imperative that I keep up with the newest technology as well or I'll be left behind so quick my head will be spinning faster than my new tires!
I can't use technology as a crutch. I had a few issues while student teaching, such as a power point refusing to load. I had to abandon it completely. Luckily I had backup material prepared just in case. ICT can be my sidekick, but not the star of the show. I'm the superhero here Batman, so don't go getting any ideas!
