PLACE Physical Characteristics: In the heart of Atlanta there are many buildings and lots of people and roads. It is very active all the time. Human Characteristics: The human characteristics of Atlanta consist of an average American major city. Lots of offices and people and tourist attractions.
Human/Environment Interaction: The people of Atlanta have to adapt to the dramatic climate changes of the city. There are very hot summers and cold winters.
Movement: Some examples of movement in Atlanta for the people are MARTA and a few others. The city does not have a big trade system Beause it is not near a major port. It also has one of the largest airports in the world.
Region: The formal region of Atlanta is in the state of Georgia in the United States. The vernacular region of Atlanta in the South-Eastern United States.
