The Plebians
Yesterday, on the ides of March, Julius Caesar was assassinated by a group of secret conspirators, that included formely admired Brutus. The conspirators, Marcus Brutus, Cassius, Casca, Trebonius, Ligarius, Decius Brutus, Metellus Cimber, and Cinna, were talking with Caesar when suddenly they all kneeled in front of him. Then Casca started to stabbed Caesar and Brutus ended the kill. As soon as the murder happened everyone in the senate, including my self, ran because of fear. The last thing I saw was the conspirators bathing their hands in the blood of Caesar. -Reporter/Senator Hosu

Letter from the Editor: Julius Caesar's death was a tragic incident. Brutus, once admired senator, now a murderer, claims that he killed Caesar for the republic and to save us from tyranny. However no matter what the reason behind was, violence is not a solution to any problems. Brutus could have convinced the people to see what Caesar is becoming of and could have made us rise against him. There was no need of bloodshed; we could have simply banished him. This goes to Antony as well. He also used violence to seek revenge of Caesar by using us to kill all the conspirators. Thus, this is also our fault Romans! We have lost our senses on noblilty and justice. We have become barbarians, who we looked down upon, and cried out "Burn! Havoc! Kill!" We should now be reasonable and placated so we could perform justice on those who committed this malicious crime.
Gaius Julius Caesar, born in 13 July 100 B.C., Subura, Rome, was elected as one of the triumvirate in 60 B.C. After defeating the barabaric Gauls, he eliminated Pompey and his forces and became dictator of Rome for 10 years. With his popularity increasing, Cassius , Brutus, and their fellow conspirators decided to kill Caesar before he destorys the republic. He was stabbed 23 times in Curia of Pompey, Rome by the conspirators.

However it does not look like there will be any more obscure omens, such as a man with a burning hand, a lion roaming the streets, and an owl screeching during the day time that happend yesterday
