Frederick Griffith came up with the idea of transformation, (right) and the Hershey-Chase experiment resulted in the study of bacteriophages, (left).
There are 4 bases in DNA, which are shown to the right. DNA is also in the form of a double helix.
During DNA replication, the molecule separates, and then produces while followinf the rules of base pairing.
Chromatins consist of DNA that is tightly wrapped around histones, which together form nucleosomes.
