So this is what you think of me? Some weak little girl. One who is uncapable of doing anything for herself! Some pathetic excuse for a person... All I wanted was to be close to you... To fit in and be loved! How can another person be so mean? I loved you... I can't believe it came to this... I don't understand why you couldn't accept me. That's it! All that is left to say is 'Goodbye!' This is my last cry... I loved you! I quit this horrible life! Now no one will ever know who I am. So, goodbye-

This is a letter a friend left for her parents before she left her house; she refuses contact with her parents and has made a new life for herself. I just don't want anyone thinking this is someone's suicide note or another poem about giving up on the world. She just gave up on her parents and is now happy. I can truly say her parents weren't ready for children. This is a sort of tribute to her and anyone else who is strong enough to not give up.
