-Dr. Lee applied for a job as an assistant professor at the University of New Haven and at first they said that because he was Chinese, he couldn't speak English fluently, so the faculty was suspicious about his English skills but he proved them wrong by giving a lecture to the students and the students voted him as their professor. -He worked his way up to make his voice heard -While in Tawain working as a police captain, Dr. Lee was assigned to the detective unit at a foreign affairs police office for a while and he became interested in investigating with forensic science.
