A Colonial American group that consisted of woman who participated in boycotts against the British. Using their feminine skills of the time, they made homespun cloth and other material for the Continental Army.

Battle of Concord and Lexington
The battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagments of the war. The battles were fought near Boston and was the place were the "shot heard around the world" was heard.
Bunker Hill
British suffered major loss but still won, mainly because the Colonists ran out of ammunition. This battle showed the inexperinced colonists were able to stand up to British government troops.
Battle of Saratoga
Turning point in the war because it convinced France to send aid and supplies to America. Fought near Saratoga, NY, the battle took eighteen days and left the British severly weakend.
