Social Wellbeing Your friends play a big part in your life. Especially when you are a teenager, as they are a big influence when we are making decision. Positive things: - Join a few groups/clubs that maybe all your friends arent in (its always good to have lots of friends!!) - Sport is a good way of meeting new people too Negative things: - Hanging out with people who make you feel depressed - Forgetting about family
The 4 different aspects of hauora: - Spiritual -Social -Mental -Physical
Mental Wellbeing This part of hauora is about your perspective on the world. negative things that someimes dont help your mental wellbeing: Being addicted to anything (not just drugs) sometimes family or stress involved with school/tests/work. Sometimes copying with a recent death doesnt help either. Some positive things that could help you are: Exercise Friends Or maybe even going to see your school consuellor
Physical Wellbeing What you eat and how much we exercise affects each and everyone of us. Some positive things that you can do to imporove your physical wellbeing are : Try and do at least 20 mins of exercise everyday (even if it is walking to the nextbus stop) Eat fastfoods/lollies in moderation, In your spare time try some different extra-curriculor activites like rugby or tennis. And the best tip of all: Love yourself the way you are remember we all come in different shapes and sizes!!!!
Spiritual Wellbeing to some people being spiritual is about your religion and beliefs but to others its about discovering about your ancestors and relatives. Decide which one you believe in /which one realtes to you more. Sometimes it can positive impacts on your life.
