This is a short video about glaciers and it shows some imformation about glaciers.
This chart shows how Glaciers are formed.
Glaciers are formed when snow gather over time, then turns into ice and then begins to flow outwards and downwards under the pressure of the ice's own weight.
Glaciers are mostly formed by large masses of ice. When Hexogonal snowflakes pile up to a certain thickness ,they get pressed together and form the shape of a snowball. As new snow falls the old snow gets packed down. The amount of ice creates a mass of solid ice. When the ice gathers to around 100 meters in thickness the ice at the bottom creates plasticity and it begins to move slowly. A Glacier is formed!
