eating healthy can sheild you from certain diseases, including diabetes!
People who regularly attend religious serives tend to look at the more positive side of things (optimistic), tend to be less stressedd, and happier. Not to mention, they also outived people who did not attend servies regularly by approximately 6 years!
People in marriages (or commited realtionships) have seen to be less stressed or less likely to suffer from depression when common things are dispersed evenly, like housework or taking care of the child or children.
Having a happy, supportive family and good friends can reduce our stress level. It has been proven, that people with more social ties live longer. Also, a 70 year study followed students with high IQ scores and saw that reguardless of the econmic status, children whos parents did not divorce were happier and more successful than those parents who did.
In a study, a few psychologists took a group of mildly depressed college women. for 10 weeks.The women were split into three groups (A,B,C). A participating in aerobic exercise. B participating in a series of relaxing exercises, and C receiving no treatment whats so ever. The results? The group participating in aerobic exercise had a significant decline in depression. However, the relaxtion exersices did decrease depression, but not nearly as much.
