In the book Animal Farm the event where the animals run Mr. Jones out of the farm is a metaphor for the real life event in Russia when Czar Nicholas 11 abdicated the throne.
In the book a group of animals rebel against a harsh farmer who they believe treats them unfairly.
In Russia, Czar Nicholas 11 was oppressive and believed in inequality of the classes. Also he lost the Crimean war which disprooved Russia as a powerful nation. During WW1 Nicholas left to help with the war and left his wife in charge. She let Rasputin make crutial desicions for her and t Russia began to go on a downhill slide. Eventualy the soilders gave up and the counrty was left weak by a war they were not in good enough shape to enter in the first place.
