....And walking up the three steps with his head down to the sound of the world on fire he wondered if it was all worth it. His red wings and pale hands were tied together, not that mattered for he had already given up the fight, and he stood and looked into the crowd. Thousands of his kin were shouting and screaming for his execution. They no longer mattered for he could no longer please them, but a few stood in the front he could never forget. The two golden winged angels that offered guidance and a path of true happiness now had their lips sown shut, ears cut off, and eyes blinded by their own selfishness; never truly aware that this entire execution began with them. They had become so blinded that their wings had lost their shine and become heavy with false wisdom that led them to their own misery. Of course, not everyone wanted him dead. There was shouting from the angels he'd grown up with; cries to let him go and to live in peace. The blue winged angels naive of what was truly happening or why, and the few green winged angels who knew and tried everything in their power to help, and although they yelled and cried the crowd of thousands over powered their tiny voices. He sent his last fake smile to them and knew everything had already been set in stone. ....The executioner placed the red winged angel’s head down and locked him in. The executioner standing tall, masked in darkness, and with decaying wings that looked as though they could no longer even fly gave off no feeling other than he had been put there to do his job and leave. The sky turned black and the clouds began to spiral above the guillotine. It began to rain with the blood that this red winged angel had spilt. As though there were no surprises left for the red winged angel, he showed a smirk, that cocky half smile he always gave and only looked out into the crowd with eyes appearing to be already void of life. He was not proud of what he'd done but he no longer cared nor was ever sure if he really did. The red winged angel patiently waited for the executioner to untie and then strap his wings down so he could personally have the pleasure of cutting them off piece by piece, but the executioner just waited passively as though the guest of honor had not appeared yet. And as quickly as this thought had passed through his head a cloaked figure had landed and knelt down on the top of the guillotine. The figure slowly began to rise and threw off his cloak. The figure's wings spread brilliantly with bright orange shining and the crowd began to scream with cheers of praise. The orange winged angel then jumped down on the back of the red winged angel causing him to shout in pain. She then reached inside his pocket and took what lie inside, his watch. Dangling the watch in front of him she said, "Now this is pretty, I wonder if it is as pretty on the inside?" and as she said this smashed her fist into it destroying the cover and showing the gears inside still barely ticking. She slowly traced her fingers around his face showing the same cocky smile he had once given but had now been erased by eyes of hate, anger, and most of all fear. "I guess on the inside it isn't quite as nice looking as the outside, don't you think?" The red winged angel said nothing but only turned away letting out a quiet sigh, and the orange winged angel kicked him across the face breaking his nose. "Oh, now look what you made me do....you are dripping blood everywhere, not that could ever amount to the blood you've spilled and people you've hurt." He responded, "That blood is on your hands not mine, all those that were hurt were hurt because of you and your choices, not mine!" And with that same smirk and pacing back and forth on the stage she said, "Oh really now....an influence here and there perhaps, but you always made the final decision." Struggling and fighting his hardest to get free now he screamed back at her, "Do you know the hell you've put me through, I'd rather be dead then listen to one more fucking word of your nonsense. I may make the final decision but it is your corruption that prevents me from making the right one!" Letting out a loud laugh that even silenced the thundering crowd, "Haha, you know that is what I love best about you Cid, you always have your own little excuses that you just glide by on in life. You think everyone else gets to make an excuse when they fail? No, they don't, instead they move forward head first for a goal....something you could never do." By now the red winged angel was completely drenched in the blood rain that seemed to be pouring down more violently then before. He looked down broken with nothing left to say knowing that she had been right and that he never truly could decide and move forward. She slowly walked up to him again and lifted his head up with her finger, looked him in the eyes, and said, "Don't you see? Your fear isn't being the same as the two gold winged ones or being alone....no no no, in fact your fear is just being happy. And you want to know why I know this? Because there is only one way to get on this stage, only those who are going to die may walk on this stage. Do you see now? I’m you, you’re me, and all three of us up here are each other. I’m not forcing you to die, you are; but I’d rather die than let you continue to make all the decisions. So either let me make them or we’re all going to hell as if I’m not already living it!" With the crowd silent and the red winged angel nothing left to say, the executioner untied his wings and strapped them down to heavy metal anvils. Simultaneously the executioner and the orange winged angel began hacking away at the red wings with dull blades. At first the red winged angel did nothing but stare downward but the pain became too great to contain inside so he burst with a loud cry of shrieking terror. As each new piece of red wing began to fall the wind blew the feathers into the crowd. The feathers than became engulfed in flames as all angel wing feathers do when detached from the body by violent means, never to grow back again. Soon the red winged angel was no longer an angel but just a regular man soaked in blood waiting for his time to come. As he now lay waiting helplessly for the executioner to let go the rope the orange winged angel once again lifted Cid’s head with that same cocky half smile and asked, “Well what is it going to be, life or death?” Slowly raising his eyes to meet hers with a broken and void lifelessness in his face he said, “Yeah….fuck you….you bitter orange bitch….”

I'm finding myself repeating "oh my god" over and over again. I feel tears fall down my cheek as I read about that watch and onward. I can't say a word, it's too incredible!
