Coraline is a girl who her parent's never have time for her. They moved to a place where they can grow more plants, because they are florest. They are always on their computers so Coraline has no one to play with cuz she moved away from her friends. So she finds a door and has her mom open it, but its bricked off. But she found these mice and followed them and she sees the door is a portal, she went in and found her '' other mother'' and she gives her whatever she wants. She cooks her fave foods because her real mom does not cook her father does, and its not that good. They buy her what ever she want's, plant a garden that looks like her from above, and plays games with her. But then they offer to sew buttons into her eyes, she would not do it. So she was trying to escape and the other mother shows what she really looks like. (everyone in the other mothers world has button eyes)
