Aim./Goal: To find out what objects conducts electricity and allows the most amount of electricity to flow through.
Method
Equipment: 1. 4 pieces of wire 2. 2 1.5v batteries 3. Battery holder 4. Small light bulb 5. Piece of wood 6. Piece of aluminium 7. Piece of china 8. Piece of plastic 9. Piece of paper 10. Switch 11. An adult helper
1. Make a circuit. 2. Put the batteries into the battery holder. 3. Use 1 wire and connect it to the light bulb. 4. Use another wire and connect it between the switch and the battery holder. 5. Use the third wire and connect it between the switch and the testing object. 6. Connect the last wire between the testing object and the light bulb. 7. Make the testing object the piece of wood, then flip on the switch and see if the bulb lights up and how bright it is. 8. Repeat step 7 for the rest of the tesing objects.
