Hey! Guess what? March is Nutrition Month in Canada! Check out what you can do to stay Nutrious!
Did you know that getting 8 hours of good sleep will make your body work better?! It does! Every night try and sleep at least 8 hours, when you wake up, eat a nutritious breakfast and your body and brain is sure to work a whole lot better! Also drink prenty of water! your body needs a lot of water to to live a healthy day. try to drink water mare than pop/soda or sugary drinks. Eat right! The more healthier the foods are that you eat the more likely you will feel happy, healthy and nutritious of coarse!
Eat healthy! Everyday you need supliments of the right food. try and have at least 6+ fruits and vegitabble servings a day. Also should try having 3-4 milk or daiy products a day. Like cheese, milk, yogert, or any other dairy products. Grains... grains is usualy what people forget about, but it's just as important! Meat and alternative foods, such as fish, eggs, peanut butter, chicken or corn should have about 3-4 servings, depending on your diet. Other that are not part of the 4 food groups can be higher in fat or calories. "You can still have your patato chips dad, just don't eat everything one one day! "
Brush your teeth! Brushing and Flossing your teeth is JUST as important as eating healthy. Brushing after every meal will prevent you from having cavaties, you don't want cavaties do you?! Keep your gums clean, floss just as often as you brush!
this may seem like a lot to follow, but it's not! having a healthy lifestyle isn't that hard. Just make everything fun. Try playing tag in your backyard with your dog ( it's really fun!) Or try chasing your older sister just to big her. Everything is fun, just hang witha friend!
