Stem Cells are cells that can change into other cells. Stem cells can differentiate or change into other cells. There are three main types of stem cells. They are embryonic which is found in fertlized eggs, The Umbilical cord which is found in the Umbilical Cord. Adult stem cells are found in a all ready developed tissue. Embryonic and Unbilical cord stem cells are produced as when the baby is born. Adult stem cells reside in already-developed tissue. Adult stem cells are multipotent.

People with Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes are at a much higher risk than the general population for damage to the eye. The Type 1 is genetic enviromental factors & the Type 2 has a poor diet which is Adult.
