Letters and Phone Calls are the main way of staying intact with the ouside world. Every letter is censored by the prison and phone cards are available to make phone calls within the prison.
Prison is a fight for survival, and the weaker inmates will be used and abused by the stronger population

Prisoners are required to work in prison. 15 hour educations are compulsory for prisoners also.
Discipline
Discipline can involve things like increasing the time you spend in prison before you get early release, taking away some of your privileges, putting you in a special unit if you are violent or disruptive and even taking you to court if you have committed a serious crime
RiGHTS you have the right to write and receive letters and make telephone calls. You also have privileges such as having a personal radio, books, periodicals and newspapers, watching television, making purchases from the prison shop with money earned in prison, recreation and eating with other prisoners
