What is the artwork about?- The artwork of An Elephant is about an elephant that is being looked at by people.
Describe the mood or emotion of the work?- Stressed, bored, tired and not worried. The people look: Happy, excited and enjoying. The whole artwork is very effective.
How or why has the artist used animals in the work?- At the time Rembrandt was stretching elephants and this was one of his works. He has shown the elephant on its side to show some of the elephant features.
Describe the style of form of the work?- Rembrandt has stretched the shadows and other features. He has just slightly drawn the people. But , the main focus is the elephant.
