Honey from Source to Shelf
Bees make honey by collecting nectar from flowers and bring it back to their hive, the bees then change the nectar into honey by regurgitating it and store the honey into there wax honeycombs.
The honey is then packed into bottles or jars with the company logo. The company then do a final process and packaging. The packaged honey is then transported to stores or ports.
After the honey is processed they then remove the honey from the honey comb and send it to larger companies for further processing. The honey is then stored into drums and transported to honey packers.
Beekeepers keep bees in beehives to collect their honey. Beekeepers then use smoke and spray it at the bees to prevent them from stinging the beekeepers they then take the honey frames out and use a truck to take the frames of honeycomb to their small factories for processing.
The honey is then sold locally in supermarkets and food stores. Honey is also exported for sale to other countries. The honey is then bought by wholesalers and consumers.
