The Dolls House a prison a cage. No longer a home but a house of lies. The house is just an illusion, cut of from the real world.
The christmas tree. it symbolizes a costume or mask. the decorations are like an outfit. as soon as the decorations are off its like everything has been revealed like a women without her make up
The candle symbolizes that she is loyal and faithful. when nora rejected Dr,Rank she lit a candle which showed her loyalty
The Key symbolizes Torvalds power over Nora. The keys represent how Nora knows nothing about the outside world
The Tarantella Dance, known as the dance of death. In the story Nora dances for her life. While the letter in the letter box is laying there. She uses this as a diversion to prevent Torvald to read this letter as her life is depending on this. The Dress Nora wore a neoplitan dress was a dress which Helmer picked out for her. At the end of the play she removes the dress just like the christmas tree being stripped of its decorations. The truth has been revealed.
The song bird is a decoration. made to look good and do nothing. and that is exactly what Nora does stays at the house and look good.
