A downward spiral That’s the only way to describe what I am going through Spinning , tumbling, tossing and turning Writhing in pain and agony Hurting but begging for more See the ones I love hurting, worrying over me But they cannot help me I am the only one who can make the hissing demons go away The ones clawing at my soul and tearing at my heart Only a tear in the flesh will push them back But not for long They will always be there Haunting and shadowing my every move Waiting for the moment when I am most vulnerable Most in pain Then they will pounce Leaving me breathless and unexpecting For it to happen again And again And again When will the screaming cease?
