Roles of Minor Parties
Minor parties arise when a group of people believe that the major two parties have become unresponsive to their needs. These minor parties fulfill the important role of bringing an issue to the public eye that has been neglected by the major political parties. These parties however, have to face the obstacles such as finance laws and restrictions on ballot access which make it difficult for these parties to thrive.
