Don't laugh at me. Don't call me names. Don't get your pleasure from my pain. In God's eyes, we're all the same. Someday we'll all have perfect wings. Don't laugh at me.

I know some of you are listening to this song and thinking, "This is me. I know how it feels to be laughed at and made fun of. I know how it feels to cry myself to sleep every night. I know how it feels to have no one on my side, and to be all alone." Or maybe you're thinking "This IS me. I do this to people. I bully people. I make them cry and cause them great harm. I need to change before this becomes a permanent part of my life." Maybe you're thinking nothing at all. If you're one of those who tease others on differences they can't prevent, a drastic change needs to occur. All it may take is one insult, even if it's only a joke, to push someone over the edge. And "Just kidding" is no excuse. A person's like a piece of wood---each time you say something hurtful, you hammer a nail into their soul. And you can remove the nail and try to cover it up with apologies, but no matter what, the hole will always remain. To bully someone is to hurt them beyond what eyes can see, to harm something in them that can never repair...so bullies, do everyone a little favor, and shut up before you say something you may regret for the rest of your life.

i have a hole in my wood. People laugh at me and bully me. My wood is becoming old and rusty and im tired of it. I wanna stand up for myself, but i cant do it. How can i change that?
