My first project at McKillop was the 4th grade Texas soil project
The 4th grade was studying soil in the different regions of Texas. They needed soil samples from all over the state. Since we are studying heroes this year as our school theme I suggested sending out Flat Texas Heroes to schools around the state. Our heroes would gather samples and send them back. Using the LM Net Internet list I contacted librarians from around the state to help us out. We received a great response and the 4th grade created a bulletin board of their results and shared back with the classrooms around the state.
