"We were never really really friends, were we? I mean it's not like I ever slept over at your house or anything. We like to do diffrent things. I have my modeling, and I like to shop..." -page 105 "You don't like anything. You are the most depressed person I have ever met, and excuse me for saying this, but you are no fun to be around and I think you need professional help." -page 105
It's Valentines Day and I get a lovely break up from my 'best friend'. I have never been so insulted in my life. I thought that your friends were supposed to be there for you when you were going through hard times, but no, they just leave you to go be in a lame group called The Marthas. I had a note on my locker with 'Melinda' written on it. What if it was really from a boy and not a joke? Who knows.
Honestly, I'm glad Melinda and Heather aren't friends anymore. The things she said to her were really really mean, and Melinda doesn't need friends like that. She needs someone to be there for her. I wish she could become close with someone she could just talk to about her problems and they could help her out with it. She needs to stop hurting herself, she needs help.
