The Magnifying Glass
The mgnifying glass works by using a convex lens to enhance image size. A convex lens is a shperical lens that is thicker in the centre and decreases in thickness towards the edges. This affects how we see the image.. The closer you place the magnifying glass to the object, the bigger it appears.
Magnifying glasses are used to see items too small to see clearly with the naked eye. Dectectives used them to pick out clues in investigations, like hair or fingerprints. Some people use them to read really small text.
