Ice cream was formed 3000 years ago, in China. The first people to taste the ice cream were the emperors of China. Back in the days, ice cream was called 'snow ice cream'. The chefs alloyed the ice from the mountain with fruits, wine, and honey. It gave a sensational taste to all the emperors, so the emperors always demanded their chefs to make the snow ice cream for them to have as a treat.
It is still a mystery of how Romans came up with the snow ice cream. Despite the fact that we do not know how Romans discovered the snow ice cream, we know that in 62 A.D, the Roman emperor Nero made his slaves climb up the mountain in order to obtain ice and snow. Nero's chefs made the ice cream with ice, snow, nectar, fruit, and honey.
Marco Polo, well known adventurer of italy, left to China in 1295, and returned to Italy with the recipe of the snow ice cream. Very soon, Marco Polo discovered that yak milk made the ice cream creamy. After Marco Polo's discovery, all the Italian emperors started to enjoy eating frozen milk.
