The climate is very hot and it’s a swampy area. It’s just a bad place to be. This is swamp land so there is tons of water and a lot of sinkholes. We also need to be on the look out for pythons there are hundreds out in the swamp area, they can kill us in one squeeze. I willbring some men to help on the way, also a little food and a lot of water. I would as take a GPS for the trip so I know where I am at and not get lost.

This is a cypress tree and it is useful as a good home for animals. It also helps our air this is one of the trees that really help out they suck in carbon dioxide & breathe out oxygen. This plant can live up to 150 years it is one of the trees that can survive the longest because it is termite resistant. Lewis & Clark found many trees that lived a lot longer.
This is a gator there are a common animal you would see in a FL swamp. Gators are the number one thing you have to watch out for. They can be under the water waiting to attack you and you can’t see them. Animals here and where Lewis & Clark were are kind of the same there are very dangerous animals that can kill you.
In the 20th century The Seminole Tribe lived in the FL swamps. They did this for hiding and eventually they died out, but there tribe is well know. Their language was Creek and Miccosukee. I think they would try to kill us just because they went into hiding because they didn’t want to deal with the U.S officials. I would use pictures or act it out to talk to them. They would kind of be the same, I would try to be friends with that tribe and bring gifts to them.
There is a big danger of dehydration and getting a deadly infection. Lewis & Clark had the danger of dehydration, but I’m not sure about the deadly infection. They deadly infection can kill you if you have a open sore and you’re walking in dirty water. Dehydration can kill you if you don’t get enough water.
