1800 Election The 1800 Election people thought of as a betrayal between Thomas Jefferson & John Adams. After the votes were counted it was very, very close, but Thomas Jefferson won. He also is a president who made a big impacted in our country.
The Alien and Sedition Acts Was another BIG event in John Adams time as President. Thomas Jefferson thought it was an attack on his party & spoke against offten. Jefferson & a lot of americans agreed that it violated individual and state rights.
Individual rights: Include protection of life, health, liberty, and property. Adams built U.S. naval ships to protect American trade.
Patriotism: Patriotism is devotion to one’s country. Adams protected the new nation from war with France.
